Furniture Re-do

I found (ok I was stalking) this piece at my local GW for 2 weeks. I would go in after work on my way home and see the $20.91 price tag. Some of you may think that was a deal, but I was willing to gamble. I mean look at the potential here people!

Then I went in another day and it was down to $15.51. You think if i was that in love with it I would have bought it. Nope. (Look at those legs baby!!)

I dragged the hubbs in on Saturday morning and low and behold, there is was. $9.91. I screamed. I squealed. (I think this was a moment when the hubbs was actually embarrassed to be married to me).  So I threw it in my cart, ran to the checkout, and happily paid. I'm sure the woman had no idea why I was so giddy!

The reason why was because I saw the potential. I envisioned a creamy white with distressed legs and new hardware. Here is before....meets after!

Look at these legs now!

ohhhh and the detail on the drawers just makes me giddy!

What do you think? It was love at first sight, and SO worth the wait!
