yes, another bird

I've had this design for the big family room wall in my head for a long time. I'm slowly getting there, but this week I've been on a roll because we're hosting a friend's bridal shower at our house Saturday. Remember it started out like this.
The big wall behind the couch is going to be some sort of gallery wall, and I've been busy making lots of art/gathering pictures for it. I alread did a painting and a shadowbox bird . I bought another shadow box (For 1/2 off of course!) and have been debating what to do with it.

I stained my shadowbox again using leftover stain from a previous furniture project.

Then I got some scrapbook paper that I thought might look good with our colors.

I had a wreath I bought from goodwill a while ago. I played with the scrapbook paper until I found a color I liked. I put it all together with those scrapbook stickies.

Then I used my cricut to cut out a cute bird in white. I just out some stickies on it....and it was done. 5 minutes and about 5 dollars! Can't beat that.

This will be added to the gallery wall above the couch. I'm working to get all the pieces together so I can post about how to do the gallery! Busy nights ahead!
