French dresser make-over

This has to be my favorite transformation ever! I found this dresser at GW. I took a picture of it, called a friend and squealed over my find. I was in love!

You can't tell from the picture, but it had stickers all over the front. It was also missing knobs and there was red nail polish spilled on one of the legs.

I had to call hubbs and beg him to drive to GW with the truck to pick up my find!

The whole way home I chatted about what color I would paint it. Light green, a pale yellow...my mind was going crazy!

As soon as I got it in my basement, it hit me. Leave the white, clean it up, stain the top, change the knobs.  So I got to work stripping and staining the top.

I cleaned up the dresser with goo gone, Krud Kutter, and a little soft scrub.

I found knobs at hobby lobby for 50% off.

Now I'm REALLY in LOVE!!

(oops...left the tags on the knobs!)

I just LOVE how the top turned out!!!

So Before....Meets After

Unfortunately, this one has to go in the store :( No room at the inn. But I will love on it until it finds a good home!

I told you I've been busy! How are your projects coming along?
