Moss letter wreath

I've seen these moss letters all over blogland, so I decided to give it a try, but with a twist. I've seen fellow bloggers hang them on mirrors, but I didn't have a mirror, so I put it on a wreath!

This project took me no time at all.

I gathered my supplies and went to work!

Most of the stuff I had lying around, I just had to buy the sheet of moss. I would HIGHLY recommend buying the sheet, and not the clumps you have to glue piece by piece!

I started out by spraying the W with the glue spray and just laying it on the opened moss sheet.
(if you're wondering what the white is, it's just the paper backing I was too lazy to peel of all the way!)
I cut around the edge of the letter, leaving a slight gap.

I didn't even fold over the edges because I knew they wouldn't be seen! But if you hang this on a mirror, you might want to do that :)

When I flipped it over, there were some spots that need a little extra attention. This is where the moss was thin or fell off. I just cut another small piece, used the spray adhesive, and you'd never know!

I knew I wanted to put this on a wreath I had lying around, but I like to change things up, so I didn't want to permanently attach it to the wreath.

I used a staple gun (yes this time I made sure the staples were small so they didn't come through the front like in my other project!) and stapled floral wire to the back.

I then took more floral wire and looped through that and wrapped it around the sticks on the wreath. Then when I get bored of it, I just have to unwrap the wire and the wreath can be used for something else!

You can't even see it when it's hanging up!

I looped some left over ribbon around the wreath to hang it.

And now look how cute it looks on the door to my garage!

There was only one downfall to this project...

My hands looked like this for days because of the sticky spray! I have a love/hate relationship with it :)
