$100 bed

  Do you remember the want list I have for our home? One of the items I wanted was an upholstered bed for our master. We have a sleigh bed that the hubbs has since his bachelor days, and it's nice, but not my style.

I FINALLY FOUND AN UPHOLSTERED HEADBOARD!! It was an amazing price too!
(Let me just say I haven't purchased one due to lack of being able to find one, but more because of the cost of them!)

I really had all intentions of making one, but for $100, I couldn't pass it up.

I was at Garden Ridge with my friend Christine, and we stumbled upon this:


They had a HUGE selection of headboards, and the upholstered one was peeking out from behind all the other ones.

I called hubbs, he gave the thumbs up, and away I went squealing to the check out line!

When I got home I couldn't wait to get it up!

We took apart the old bed and moved it into an empty bedroom then put the headboard together.

We realized it was too short for our really tall bed, so the hubbs came up with an amazing solution. He just put form 4 X 4's under the posts and secured the headboard to them.

This is the final result!

I'm so in love! Best $100 I ever spent!
