I was so excited with Alyssa contacted me about doing a dresser/changing table for her new baby. Alyssa's sister-in-law was a college friend of mine, so I was happy to help!
Originally she asked me to find a piece for her, but then she stumbled upon this piece!

How could I say no to that?
I sanded it down, painted it Behr's Premium paint and primer in white.
I then distressed it just a little bit so you could see the beautiful carved details in the wood.
I just LOVE the way it turned out!

Here's another Before Meets After!

I am currently reclaiming some old oak chairs. From your experience what is the best sand paper to use. 80? 120?
ReplyDeleteLove all your transformations!
ReplyDeleteHow do you decide if a piece needs to be sanded or not?
