This weekend I headed to my very first fair. I definitely learned a few do's and don'ts. There were some veteran vendors that were set up and organized in no time at all. I on the other hand, forgot some signs, a dry erase marker, and my own sign for my tent. (lesson learned, have a list!)
My whole family helped out by loading, setting up, and hanging out.
My dad helped load up early in the morning.
We had to sweep out the truck because the pollen in Georgia is out.of.control right now!
Yeah the tent had to go about halfway through. It was so windy it was shaking like crazy. (Another lesson learned, bring tent weights!)
Overall it was a lot of fun. I saw lots of friends and got my name out there as well as sold a few things. The rest I will post about this week and list for sale in the store tab.
As for now, I need a nap!

So sad I missed it! I will have to come get the scoop from you!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a beautiful day for it, even if it was a tad windy, better than rain! Thanks for showing us some pics, it looks like fun! Get some rest. :)
ReplyDeleteDidn't know that was your first craft fair! I remember my first one with Pampered Chef & you're right, a big learning experience! Glad it was successful & that you sold some things too!
ReplyDeleteI'm a semi new follower that also lives in the Atlanta area. What other craft shows do you plan on attending in the near future?
ReplyDeleteYour stuff is so beautiful! Did you sell that amazing blue dresser? I'm local and I'm thinkin' I need to find some craft fairs to check out!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with that dresser! I'm in Atlanta too. Are you going to the Haven conference in June? Hope to run into you at some point! Love your blog.
