"Shopping" in my garage

Yesterday I told you about my Spring Break mission to organize my house.

Today my master looks like this,

when it used to look like this!

Bare with me as I explain!

This dresser was part of the best Goodwill find ever for $50!

It's been fine in our room, but I've been itching to rearrange our family room. So I took the dresser out of our room, brought it down to the family room and put our tv on it!

But then that left clothes all over our bedroom floor, no storage for hubby's things, and an empty wall.

What's a girl to do then go shopping!!!!

Well, not exactly. I went shopping in our garage!

Look behind the gigantic ping pong table.
Do you see it?

It's peeking!

It was the armoire from the $50 Goodwill find and it's been sitting in our garage collecting dust. I finally had the perfect spot for it!

We dragged it upstairs. I used the same mirror and a few other things from around the house to dress up this wall in our master.
And now it's finished! It was a win-won for both the master and family. Zero bucks were spent as well. My kinda project!

Here's the Before Meets After!

I didn't have to do anything to either one of these pieces so it freed up some time to organize the garage. After the armoire made it's way upstairs, we got rid of the ping pong table and a couple boxes of junk. Now hubbs can FINALLY get his car in the garage. No more pollen.

I'll show you the whole new family room with the old master dresser later this week :)
