Refinished antique desk

Remember when I wrote about choosing the right stripper and I showed you this desk?

Well now I have the finished product to share with you!

It turned out so beautiful!

It's now been stripped and stained in Dark Walnut by Minwax and then sealed with polyurethane for a lasting finish.

It's now a part of a beautiful antique set!

  7. I was so proud of you for not painting over this beautiful wood. and look at the pay off! Just beautiful! The finish is indeed very professional and I would purchase this piece over a painted piece any day. Some things just need to be painted and this wasn't one of them! Great job, Judy
