IKEA Wall of curtains in the master

I cheated. I've actually had this curtain wall done for months, but I didn't want to show it to you until I had my new hardwoods installed that I won from Shaw Floors.

The reason why is because I didn't love the curtain wall with the carpet. I knew I WOULD love it after the floors went in, so I wanted to wait to share it with you then!

I spent a lot of time searching pinterest for curtain walls.

After a trip to IKEA, I decided to go for it.

I purchased 6 of the LENDA panels.
At $20 a pair, it only made sense to buy these and add a little of my own DIY touch.

They come with tabs at the top, but I decided to fold back the tabs, and use iron on stitching to adhere them down.

This gave the curtains a pinch pleat look, without the cost.

The great thing about IKEA curtains is that they're not hemmed at the bottom and they come in a few different lengths. I decided to leave them unhemmed and let them pool at the bottom.

This whole project, including the hardware from IKEA, cost me under $75. I think it had a huge impact for not a lot of money. It was definitely cheaper than even making my own curtains. I love when projects turn out that way!

  2. Love the look! We'll actually be doing the same thing for a Guestroom we're making over - it will disguise an off centered window. Your room looks great!

  4. This looks wonderful! I have been debating on doing the same thing in the guest room. There is a window on each side of the bed (similar to yours). I really like the way your turned out. Your new flooring is beautiful. :)
