Everyone once in a while, this DIY gal has to eat. Well, actually I eat all the time! Lately I've had a lot of events to go to that needed food: girls night, dinner with friends, and a baby shower. So what's a girl to do? Bring the most amazing thing to touch your lips!
Enter Oreo Pie
You'll need
1 package Oreos (I like to use double stuffed)
1/2 c. butter
1 8oz package cream cheese
1 container whip cream
1 c. powdered sugar
1 package instant pudding
First, crush the oreos in a bowl using the bottom of a can. Put aside about 1/3 c. of the crushed oreos for garnish.
Melt the butter and mix in with the oreos until well coated.
Press the mixture in the bottom of an 8X8 glass pan.
Put into the fridge while moving on to the next step. Enter Oreo Pie

Make the instant pudding according to the directions on the package. Set aside, and put that into the fridge with the oreo crust as well.
Next, take the package of cream cheese (softened), whip cream, and powdered sugar and place in a bowl.
Use a mixer to blend until all lumps are gone and all ingredients are mixed evenly.
Next, take out the oreo crust and pudding from the fridge. Start layering the cream cheese mixture on top of the crust.
Then layer the pudding on top of that.
Finally, take the crushed oreos you set aside earlier and garnish the top.
Serve Chilled and store in the fridge up to 1 week (but I guarantee it won't last that long!)

As always, the recipes I share on here are calorie free, fat free, and sugar free :)

My husband is not a big sweet eater but this is his favorite dessert. I always make it for his birthday "cake".
ReplyDeleteSeriously? If I wasn't already in my pjs I'd be heading out to the store right now. Pinning!!

PS -- hope your week is off to a good start!
Is it guilt-free too? Looks delish!
ReplyDeleteMy mom and I make something similar, but we call it Dirt Cake. It has all the same ingredients too. We mix the pudding with the cream cheese mixture and layer that in a bowl with the crushed cookies. I could probably eat it every day it tastes so good.
